BEHIND THE LENS
I have been taking photographs for decades. While I flew fighters in the Navy, I shot runway and fashion professionally on the side. I never published my own work. This is my first time sharing it. I never stop learning, and I am glad you are here.
FROM THE COCKPIT
A camera went with me on most flights. I fought in conflicts where I witnessed the worst the world has to offer. Those experiences forged my passion to capture the best the world has to offer. It might be a stranger caught in good light, or it might be someone you love.
BUILD AND CREATE
I have been engineering software as long as I have been taking photographs. Both reward precision and patience. I get the technical side right, from exposure to the final print. Then I let the art lead. Today I run a software company and this studio. My mind keeps mixing them together, and I find art everywhere.
PEOPLE AND LIGHT
I love photographing people and light. I work mostly in black and white.
You pass a print every day. On the right day it makes you bolder, or quieter, or happier, or takes you back to a time you had almost forgotten. That is what I want my photographs to do.
PORT WASHINGTON
I live in Port Washington, Wisconsin, with my wife, our three kids, and two Australian shepherds. My dogs are the most stubborn photography subjects I have ever had. I have lived and traveled all over the world. A camera usually comes along.
WORK WITH ME
